Description
ArmorShield® is a proprietary material developed for the manufacture of sleeves and envelopes to provide protection against unauthorized access or skimming of RFID cards and documents. ArmorShield® is a multi-ply laminate made with DuPont Tyvek that contains a security barrier to prevent RFID detection while offering light-weight, water resistant, durability and the superior printing and converting benefits of traditional DuPont Tyvek "D" styles.

ArmorShield® is FIPS 201 Approved
ArmorShield® material is FIPS 201 approved by the US Government and is classified as an Electromagnetically Opaque Shield. In order to become FIPS 201 approved, products go through a rigorous, comprehensive set of functional testing requirements derived from government-wide specifications.
