If you were printing a paper envelope and comparing to a PaperTyger® envelope you wouldn’t know the difference until you tried to open it due to its durability. PaperTyger’s® lamination process is completely transparent and doesn’t impair or blemish the printing in anyway. In fact, our process allows for consistent and smooth printing surfaces, which result in exceptional graphics.


PaperTyger feels like paper, acts like paper, prints like paper and converts like paper and to top it off is tear and grease resistant too. The paper/film/paper construction adds strength and stiffness to applications that are handled frequently, enhancing the quality of the product. Therefore, our solvent-less laminating process delivers the toughness of a synthetic sheet with the benefit of an uncoated paper printing surface.

This product is inherently grease resistant due to the polymeric film in the laminate. This feature enables use in applications where excessive handling or exposure to oily or greasy environments exist.


PaperTyger® lamination process is the preferred choice for applications requiring durability where the product isn’t exposed to the elements for prolonged periods of time. When printed on our durable paper, not only will it withstand a bit of rain, but it will stand up to mud, moisture, grease, and other contaminants.

The film core allows for the durability of synthetic paper with the look and feel of standard paper. It doesn’t make applications completely waterproof, unlike some synthetic papers but because of its unique construction of paper/film/paper, PaperTyger® will run on almost any laser or inkjet printer.

Aside from the superior durability and tear proof qualities of our durable paper, it’s also a cost-effective and time efficient way to print. In many applications for example, it removes the necessity to manually laminate paper in order to shield it from everyday wear and tear.
